youth ministry

encoutering the love of god in a powerful way

St. Paul's Youth Ministry is for students from 6th -12th grades.  We aim to connect the students with the love of Jesus and then provide them with ways to share that love with those around them

If you want your child to join the youth here at St. Paul's it's super easy to do.  Just have them attend any of our Wednesday night youth groups!

What do we do here?  Great question!

  • Wednesday Night Youth - We meet every Wednesday night, from 7:00 pm - 8:30 pm in the youth room to lean more about what Christians believe, the love of Jesus, and how those things impact our lives.  Here also we equip the students to serve the church, and the world around them in ways that demonstrate the love of Jesus.
  • Catechism - Catechism is for students 6th - 8th grades.  Catechism classes are Sunday from 7:00 pm - 8:00 pm during the school year in the youth room.  In this class we go through Luther's Small Catechism and break down why we believe what we do, and how those things shape our lives as Christians, and impact how we live.
  • Vision - We here, at St. Paul's Lutheran Church Youth Group, believe in connecting kids with the Gospel of Jesus Christ in a way that is both relevant for day-to-day living, and transformative in day-to-day life.  That their lives would be touched and marked by the love of Jesus in a powerful and real way.  To meet that end, service opportunities will be regular, from small-scale local outreach to large-scale international mission trips, along with pressing in to the presence of God on Wednesday nights, and educating our younger students on who God is in Catechism
