Catechism 2022-2023
As school is starting back up, so, too, is St. Paul’s Catechism class. If you have a student in 6th grade or above, I would strongly encourage you to have them attend. But this class isn’t just limited to students. All are welcome to attend. In this class, we go over the core fundamentals of not just what Christians believe, but specifically, what Lutherans believe. It’s a 2-year class. The first year will be focusing on Luther’s large catechism along with the Book of Concord and some Church history. The second year will be on things like: the history of the Bible, practical application of Scripture and how to read Scripture. Both of these years will be rooted in the Scriptures.
Again, I’d like to offer my strong encouragement if you, or a student/someone you know, is interested in the basics of, not just Christianity but, also, Lutheranism, then please feel free to attend. We’d love to have you. Questions? Talk to Aaron Williams.
We will be beginning on Sunday, September 18th, and we will be ending on June 11th. The timing will be from 4:00-5:00 pm.
