What Is It?
Reformation Sunday is the day we celebrate the Protestant Reformation. The reformation was started when Martin Luther posted his 95 These (or points of disagreement) to the doors of the church. The date was October 31st, 1517 in Wittenberg, Germany. His disagreements were that some of the doctrines and practices of the church were not Biblical. By protesting against these doctrines and practices of the Medieval Church, Martin Luther and other reformers were putting their very lives in danger.
Would you be willing to die for your beliefs? Martin Luther had the Courage to do what he should because he knew that God was with him.
