        FREE Workshop

        For Seniors & Caregivers

Everyone ages.  We all experience predictable, natural changes as we age, as well as unanticipated ones.  It is wise to prepare for all stages of life but, especially, for the senior years when we begin to slow down.  Seniors & caregivers of seniors are invited to a special 2-day workshop.  It’ll be a time of sharing concerns and planning for the future.  Explore some of the options and care available to you as you age and learn to navigate your way through those choices.  The first day, Thursday, May 11, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, has caregiver focus.  The second, Friday, May 12, 1:00 pm – 3:00 pm, has a housing options focus.  The workshop is free and open to the public.  Come for both days or just one.  The presenter is our own Joyce Oravecz.  Joyce has a Gerontological Certificate from Lourdes University and brings over a decade of experience sharing her passion for the aging population.

        Muffin’s With Mom

        Mother’s Day

Come and enjoy a muffin with your mom or other favorite women in your life on Mother’s Day, Sunday, May 14th.  We will be serving muffins, fruit, juice, coffee, and Pop Tarts for those with nut allergies.  Breakfast will be available between services from 9:00 – 9:30 and 10:30 – 11:00 in the Fellowship Hall.  This is a free event and all are welcome to attend.  Any questions or if you’d like to help with this event, contact Sarah Howard at 440-503-8755 or sarah.j.howard5@gamil.com

        4th Annual

        Spring Cleanup

In the past, we’ve had some extraordinary volunteers and the Boy Scouts who have helped clean up the grounds and plant flowers around the church to make everything look beautiful. We are planning another Spring cleanup and flower planting on Saturday, May 13th, from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm.  Do you need any experience in gardening?  No just a willingness to serve. Bring any rakes, shovels or weed clippers you might have, dress for getting dirty, and join us for a fun morning of fellowship and weeding!  Meet in the church parking lot at 8:00 am!
